22.06 miles 2:29:36 6:47 average per mile
11:50 am) 50's sunny! nice day
1421 elevation gain
Late start today as it was very cold this morning.
Glad I waited as it was perfect running temps
when I started. B once again rode her bike along
my side. So thankful she was supporting me today.
I needed the support. I felt tired pretty much the
entire run. I have run 97 miles from Sunday to
Sunday so the fatigue was expected.

Brad - much to talk to you about at some point but I have been long wondering how you put these sort of runs together. 22 at 6:45 in a non race, the day after a race would not even be in the realm of my imagination. What up? What is the thought in the training approach?
GZ... Brad and I put together his training plan with the idea that he's training for the fastest, most competitive 50 miler out there. He needs speed, so the flat, faster stuff is being mixed with the vertical trail runs. The longer runs are in the mix for endurance and for the couple of marathons that will be leading up to December 1. I also have some concerns about recovery, so there are recovery runs and one off day per week (generally speaking). We are also paying close attention to his body and making sure we don't need to tweak based off his recovery. Fatigue is alright as long as no nagging injuries show up. My main problem is getting him to slow down ;)
Exactly! What is the goal at SF TNF 50?
We're looking at sub 7. Here's hoping Colorado trails translate well to SF. We're just matching elevation profiles and assumed gains/miles to local trail.
Love it. By comparison ... http://www.sportstats.ca/displayResults.xhtml?racecode=101612
Oh yeah. We've studied the list ;)
