I have gotten back to consistency. I have strung several 50 mile weeks.

This past week was my biggest week to date 61 miles. I'm trying to get most of my miles on trails.

I have several trail races this year and end it with a road marathon. My first race will be the Barr Trail

Mountain Race in July. Recently I got off the wait list for the Run Rabbit 50 mile race. I'm very

excited to do a ultra distance race again. 2022 I'm looking for a 100 mile race in the fall I'm thinking.

That's all for now.

Keep 'er movin'
Brad Poppelehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13986634254230026785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3164157095835512721.post-48417092137858436612021-03-05T20:49:00.000-06:002021-03-05T20:49:05.699-06:002021 Running
First post of 2021!

I have been running consistent again since November 2020. I haven't run much the last few years. I'm getting back at it. I am currently training specifically for Pikes Peak Ascent. I also signed up for Barr Trail Mountain Race. Other races planned include a 50 mile trail run and a road marathon in December.

Life has changed some career wise. I no longer work for the man. I have gone out on my own doing wood working. If you want to see some of my work it's on my facebook page Wood Art Designs. This has been the best decision ever. I enjoy getting up every day now. Also I have way more flexibility for running!

I will try and post more often. Thanks for stopping by.

Brad Poppelehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13986634254230026785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3164157095835512721.post-45794268152513096512020-01-05T14:02:00.001-06:002020-01-05T14:02:32.287-06:00Week ending 1/5/2019Still no running except a couple short efforts to see how the adductor is doing.
Another fun run with Randy. Lots of snow on Longs Ranch Road. We had a
28:00 mile! Not nearly as cold as Thursday that was nice. Feeling good
but also feeling a little tired from the added mileage and time on feet. Next
Sunday the club runs start. I can't wait. Randy and I will have more company
out there. The quiet time is nice though as we talk lots about everything but
mostly about nutrition. We learn lots from each other.
